German Federal Minister for the Environment and the President of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) at Corvinus

DSG30 anniversary event on 19 April.

Corvinus University is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its German management training programme. 800+ students have attended the BSc and MSc programmes to date, and 70 students have earned a masters degree from both Corvinus University and the University of Passau. DSG Corvinus invites everyone interested to an anniversary event on 19 April 2023 to celebrate the achievements of these 30 years. Register, participate in the events and meet politicians, academics and the representatives of Hungarian-German companies in person.  

Date: Wednesday, 19 April 2023, 12 noon – 8 pm 

Venue: Corvinus University of Budapest, Auditorium III and Grand Hall 

Prof. Dr. Előd Takáts, the Rector of Corvinus University, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Bartosch, the Rector of the University of Passau, and Prof. Dr. Joybrato Mukherjee, the President of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will give speeches at the event. 

Presenting the DSG programme and the German language economics programme, the event will be centred around ‘corporate and organisational sustainability and economy’. We have invited outstanding experts and practitioners of the field to the German language event. Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer, former German Federal Minister for the Environment and former executive director of the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP), will give a presentation. This will be followed by a roundtable talk with participants from academia and the corporate world. 

Representatives of 7 German-Hungarian companies will be in attendance, providing a brief overview of their career options for students of the German economics programme and an opportunity for one-on-one consultations with DSG students and lecturers. DSG alumni will also participate in the event, presenting the results of their career survey.
