On Thursday, 25 April, the Hungarian University – College Sports Association held its annual general meeting in Budapest. At the MEFS General Assembly, MEFS awards were traditionally presented in recognition of outstanding work in university sport.
Two of our university’s physical education teachers were also honoured, who have done and are doing a lot for the development of university sport and for the success of student competitive and recreational sport.
The Németh Angéla Hungarian Medal of Young Sports Professionals for University Sport was awarded to Kata Németh, our teacher of physical education, and the MEFS Alfréd Hajós Gold Plaque for University-College Sport was awarded to Csaba Vladár, Head of the Centre for Physical Education and Sport.
The General Assembly elected Csaba Vladár as a member of the Board for another four-year term.
