Prof. György Hajnal among global experts at IIAS Annual Conference in New Delhi, India

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), a global Public Administration scientific association of numerous governments, academic organizations and individuals, held its Annual Conference in New Delhi, India, from 11 to 14 February 2025.

The IIAS Conference – hosted by India’s Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) – welcomed more than 600 participants.

A highlight of the conference was the panel discussing accreditation of Public Administration education programs. The event, titled „Ensuring excellence in Public Administration: Challenges and innovations in accreditation” was chaired by the head of the Department of Public Policy, prof. György Hajnal, Chair of the EAPAA (European Association of Public Administration Accreditation). Other participants included the leading officials of the other two global Public Administration accrediation organizations NASPAA (Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration) and ICAPA (International Commission on Accreditation of Public Administration).

The panel participants, covering all geographical regions, exchanged their views on challenges and opportunities related to international accreditations in the field of Public Administration / Public Policy / Public Management education.
