Soccer Cup – Corvinus Sports Week

On 10 April 2025, the ‘Soccer Cup’ was held as part of the Corvinus Sports Days. This year 14 teams have been accepted by the organisers. All the teams present played at least 2 matches to decide the qualification. Those who progressed from the group stage were placed on a straight knockout table. Great battles were fought between the teams until the field finally reached the semi-finals.

Unfortunately, by the end of the tournament, Aston Kanál’s team ‘ran out’, there were not enough players left to finish the tournament in a decent way, so Neptun FC finished the tournament in III. place without a game. However, the final was a huge battle between the two best teams in the tournament. The match between the Superz and the Botos Brigade was a thrilling encounter, with the Botos Brigade coming out on top 6:5 and taking the trophy.

Super Cup
WWith the active support of the Centre for Physical Education and Sports, organized by Máté Godó and Sándor Nagy, the Corvinus Superliga series started from the beginning of February 2025, in which 12 teams of Corvinus students competed against each other in a tournament on Tuesday evenings and Sunday evenings, week after week. The current leader of this series was pitted against the winner of the Sportsweek Cup to win the so-called Super Cup.
Result: Superz – Corvinus Allstars: 7:3
So the Superz team could do double, because after the Sports Week title they also won the Super Cup.
