Tanítsunk Magyarországért programme: our university participated in the first national conference

The first national conference of the “Tanítsunk Magyarországért” programme was held on 13 March 2025, hosted by the University of Miskolc. The conference was opened by Prof. Dr. Zita Horváth, Rector of the University of Miskolc, followed by a plenary presentation by Dr. László György, Government Commissioner, on the vision and next steps of the programme. During the morning presentations, mentor ambassadors also presented the programme’s online learning materials and the “Tanítsunk Magyarországért” websites. The plenary session was closed by a series of camp reports, featuring corporate sponsors of the mentoring programme.
During the afternoon workshops, our university was represented in the internal content development session, where we shared our professional experiences on the implementation of the programme and its development possibilities. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen communication and cooperation between universities, primary schools, companies and school districts.
At the event, the NTC presented its plans for the further development of the programme, which will build on practical experience and will be key to the long-term operation of the initiative. Closing remarks by Dr László György emphasized that the main goal of the “Tanítsunk Magyarországért” programme remains to ensure that every child acquires a suitable profession or continues his/her education according to his/her abilities.
The conference was of a high quality and inspiring, which contributed to the further successful development of the programme and to closer cooperation between the participating universities.
