More university championship sporting successes

On the first weekend of May, the Kozma István Hungarian Wrestling Academy hosted the Hungarian University and College Wrestling Championships. Miklós Szarka and Ákos Virág represented Corvinus in the Amateur SZF. 80 kg, while Bulcsú Kovács represented Corvinus in the Amateur SZF. 90+ kg. 

Ákos was able to defend his first place from last year, so he could stand on the top step of the podium again this year. Miki and Bulcsú finished in a respectable 5th place after close matches.

The Corvinus team: 

On 4 May, the Budapest University and College Tennis Championships were held at the BME Bogdánfy Street premises. The students of our university excelled at the opening tournament of the outdoor season.  

In the men’s individual event, two of our students could stand on the podium: the gold medal went to Ádám Majerusz and the bronze medal went to Márton Barnabás Konkoly.
