The former Presidential Committee becomes an Executive Committee (EXCO)

With his appointment on 1 August, Bruno van Pottelsberghe has taken over the duties of President-Rector in one person. This implies changes to the organisational functioning, which are being worked out.  

As a first step, the former Presidential Committee is being transformed into an Executive Committee (EXCO), with the membership of the Vice-Rector General and the Head of HR being added to that of the President-Rector and the Chancellor, in view of the strategic importance of these leadership positions and the parity between the academic and service area leaders who are members of the Board. The restructuring of the Board was approved by the Board of Trustees of the Maintainer, with the agreement of the Senate, at its meeting on 10 September.
