We host Europe’s top marketing researchers

2022-05-19 07:15:53

This year marks the 51st EMAC conference, hosted by Corvinus.

Corvinus University would have hosted the EMAC event in 2020, but it had to be postponed due to the pandemic. The following year it was “banished” to the online space and was hosted by ESIC Business & Marketing School in Madrid.

The prestigious European professional conference is usually attended by 800–1000 people, mostly from academia.

The annual conference is preceded by a small doctoral colloquium (about 80 people) and some private meetings. The big conference will start on the evening of 24 May with a reception in the Aula, followed by exciting programmes until Friday evening, including presentations on topics such as social media, marketing communication and tourism. (The detailed programme of the multi-day conference can be found here.) The keynote speaker of the conference will be Gerrit van Bruggen, professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
