Peters of the University of Pittsburgh has extended an invitation to Professor Hajnal for an online lecture in his course titled "Capstone Course: Populism, Democratic Backsliding, and Governance."Professor Peters, an eminent figure in the field of Public Policy and Political Science, is widely recognized as one of the most influential scholars in contemporary academia. His contributions include being the founding president of the International Public Policy Association (IPPA), the largest academic association in the field.
Professor Hajnal’s lecture, titled “The Illiberal Transformation of Governance in Hungary: An Ideal Type (?),” offered insights into the challenges and nuances surrounding populism, democratic backsliding, and governance, particularly in the context of Hungary.
