The Corvinus Gold Medal is awarded to those lecturers, researchers, leaders and professional managers who have made a long-term outstanding impact on the development and reputation of the University through their exceptionally valuable, internationally recognised scientific activities, outstanding teaching work, and who have played a significant role in the education of young researchers, or who have made a great contribution to the renewal of the University and the realisation of its strategic goals as leaders and professional managers.

Kata has an outstanding impact on the development and reputation of the University. She carries out valuable, internationally recognized research activities, which have been rewarded with several prizes in recent years. Her educational activities are also outstanding, she is a leading figure spreading of the sustainability approach in the classes as well as in the training of colleagues. She is head of department, program manager, Navigator business manager, ERS Hub leader, Corvinus Green project manager and TDK section leader.
Péter has been a member of our university community for 16 years. He is the author of several refereed articles. Since 2012, he has been one of the main organizers of the internationally recognized Annual Financial Market Liquidity Conference, which is held annually at the University. As a member of the University Research Committee for a decade, he has been very active in the research renewal of the University. He has been the Head of the Doctoral School of Economics, Business and Informatics, he also participated in the renewal of the Finance Master Programme.
Magdolna Daruka is a driving force behind the Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement and Methodology, a key figure in the university’s paradigm shift in pedagogy, who has supported and continues to support the development and renewal of the teaching competences of countless colleagues with incredible energy and dedication. She has also contributed to the design and rethinking of more than 15 degree programmes using a learning outcomes approach. In addition, she leaves a legacy as a great teacher, as well, with a long list of economists and economics teachers recalling her lessons.
Tamara was one of those who started to publish her research in the field of marketing regularly in highly ranked international journals, thus contributing to the international recognition of the research work in the discipline carried out at Corvinus. As Vice-Rector for Research, he renewed the infrastructure of research support and achieved outstanding results in the development of management system of the research grant proposals and its organisational background.
The Corvinus Medal is awarded to university citizens who have demonstrated exemplary and outstanding performance over a long period of time; and whose leadership or academic or service activities have had a significant impact on the development, reputation of the University. This award also recognises the work of those who have carried out transformations, innovations and developments which have made a significant contribution to the renewal of the University.

Peter has an outstanding research output, publishing in leading journals in his field. He carries out his research with national collaborators in international teams, and is active in building links between the national and leading global scientific communities. He has organized several international conferences at the University, where he has attracted internationally distinguished names in the field as plenary speakers, including three Nobel Prize-winning professors.
Gábor has been an active member of our university community for more than 15 years. He headed the Department of Macrofinance for eight years, where he also served students and fellow lecturers as programme and specialization supervisor. He is an excellent teacher, which manifests itself in tireless teaching material development and the cooperation of the teaching team. Students awarded him the title for the most humorous presenter. As a permanent reviewer of scientific journals, he enhances the reputation of the university.
László started his career at the Department of Labour Economics in 2016, and he is a founding member / co-leader of the CIAS-NETI Lab. He is an internationally recognized network scientist. His publication and grant activities are excellent, his teaching activities are of high quality. He played an essential role in the first successful European Research Executive Agency Chair grant of Hungary. Recently, he contributed to the creation of the Department of Network Science, which he chairs.
Éva is the Vice Head of the Institute, the founding president of the Fintech and Financial Culture Section of the Hungarian Economic Association, and the ambassador of financial culture of the Hungarian Banking Association. She is a popular lecturer and active member of curriculum and program development activities, national and international projects, talent management, and mentoring programs. She is also the driving force behind institutional development. She mentors the Hungarian Start-up University Program at our university, and due to her dedicated work, our university has won first place three times in the program’s interinstitutional competition.
Gábor brings a wide range of professional knowledge to the Neptun team’s leadership. With extraordinary dedication, he is constantly working on the development and renewal of Neptun with his ideas and solutions, which as our alumnus he also sees through the eyes of our students. In crisis situations, he always provides guidance with outstanding professionalism and confidence to apply the fastest and best solution.
Áron is a leader who had a significant impact on the development of the University’s agricultural economics workshop, its international reputation, and its community, who renewed the university’s agricultural education portfolio and, as specialization manager, created one of the most popular specializations in business and management. In addition to his duties as head of department, Áron has been extremely active and successful in publishing international scientific articles, winning grants and mentoring young colleagues. Áron’s name is also associated with the launch of the Corvinus Farmers Market initiative.
This award is given to colleagues who demonstrated exemplary and outstanding performance on several occasions, and whose activities have been a significant innovation that has contributed to the renewal of the University.

Antsa has been working at the University for over 18 years, with exemplary and unbroken loyalty. In addition to her Senate administration duties, she also acts as data protection and committee secretary. She has direct personal contact with almost all departments, including many colleagues. She is quick, hard-working and always solution-oriented. This phrase is particularly typical of her: The answer is yes, what is the question.
Rita is very committed to the University; she is an extremely reliable colleague. Her problem solving and initiative skills are above average. New and good practices in the institute can be linked to her name, such as the automated task tracking and deadline signalling system or the coordinated capacity control system, with which she significantly contributed to the renewal of the University and the success of the institute. She is a classic team player with excellent communication skills.
Regina is a punctual and precise colleague. Her helpfulness, conscientiousness and professionalism make her stand out in her professional environment. She always performs her tasks to the highest quality. Her efficiency enables her to meet challenges quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing quality. Her innovative thinking helps to ensure the most optimal accounting of projects and the full absorption of resources.
Veronika joined Corvinus-CIAS as a project coordinator. Her commitment soon became noticeable: she is a reliable colleague, excellent communicator in Hungarian and English, with a good understanding of processes. She is customer-oriented and provides the highest level service. Her positive personality also contributed to the satisfaction of the CIAS researchers. She has maintained these virtues as the executive director of CIAS – Center for Collective Learning to the delight of all.
Dániel has successfully taken over the operation of classroom support operation in Building C, as well support tasks of the Gellért Campus. He was also actively involved in the design and construction processes of the Gellért Campus. His punctual, precise, and conscientious approach contributes greatly to the positive image and daily life of IT Services. He is also excelling in his new role as team leader.
Zoli has been working at our university for more than a decade. Since joining, he has been performing asset protection tasks in the university properties with dedication and to a high standard. He provided outstanding performance in the performance of additional tasks related to the commissioning of the Gellért Campus, in determining the building’s usage order, and in organizing the installation and operation of asset protection systems.
Andrea’s innovative thinking and dedication led to the establishment of the Career and Learning Support Unit at the University, which she has been leading with great commitment ever since. Her persistent work resulted in regular monitoring of students’ mental health. As part of the Navigator project, she supports faculty mentors. Her exemplary leadership led to her election as president of the Higher Education Counselling Association in 2024.
Márta has been working with exemplary dedication, motivation and loyalty at the German Language Centre and within the IOC for almost four decades. She plays an outstanding role in talent management and supporting her colleagues. She is always challenged to do better in both teaching and curriculum development, and constantly contributes new ideas to her area.
Éva has been working at our university for more than a decade. In addition to her duties as a departmental administrator, she has provided and continues to provide support to the heads of programs and specializations such as International Business Bachelor’s, Business Development and Sports Economics Master’s program, the Sports Economics and the Small Business specialization. She is equally dedicated to assisting students. She fulfills her duties in an exemplary and conscientious manner.
Andrea Tréfás-Hős is responsible for the organisation of the University’s travellings abroad. Year after year she is one of our most awarded colleagues. Those colleagues who travel with her support always praise her helpfulness, promptness, and kindness. She carries out her work with exceptional conscientiousness and knows no bounds.
Kata has been working at the University for 22 years. A year ago, she faced a new professional challenge: in addition to the professional management of the expenditure area, she was also given the management of the revenue area. She has spent a lot of time and energy trying to get to grips with the tasks and processes of the new area as quickly as possible and has come up with new ideas and proposals in the first few weeks. She constantly supported his colleagues, both professionally and personally. She is always there for her manager and her senior colleagues.

The department presented plenty of good practices and evidence by integrating sustainability subjects into university programs. A major strength of the department is research-based teaching, where research results are not only published in international journals, but also integrated into teaching practice. The department has made a significant contribution to educational excellence through its innovative pedthodological teaching, as demonstrated by the feedback from national and international students.
This is a close-knit team, who evidently enjoy working together and are very successful in reaching a lot of students through their highly innovative and original teaching methods and teaching ethos. It is exciting, fun, and thinking out of the box. The assessment committee commend the group for their partnership orientation towards teaching and students and for their innovative teaching methods – these should stand as examples for all involved in teaching at Corvinus. The committee particularly appreciates the involvement of young colleagues.

Members of CIAS – ANETI have an impressive publication record: the research group currently includes three international postdoctoral researchers who have recently published D1 and Q1 articles. In the previous academic year, group members published 10 papers in leading international journals and submitted 12 others in the same period. ANETI at CIAS is participating in a five-member international consortium that was submitted to the Driving Urban Transition call of the European Partnership program.
This year, the Business Ethics Center is linked to two prestigious international conferences. In the previous academic year, the Centre’s researchers published 1 D1 and 2 Q1 papers and contributed to 3 edited volumes. In partnership with the University of California, Berkeley and the Club of Rome, the Centre submitted a HUF 350 million research project “Green Economic Transformation” under the HU-RIZONT programme.

Sejla has outstanding myview records and is a successful and accomplished TDK and New National Excellence Programme theme leader. She is also an active organiser of student professional and leisure activities. She has been involved in the Navigator mentoring programme for two years, where she is one of the most popular mentors with 26 consultations.
Zsófia was promoted to assistant professor in 2023, she has recently started teaching and developing a number of new subjects, and in these cases, she has not had the opportunity to be selective. Finally, she has been so successful in these that her student feedback is among the highest in the Institute and the University.
Szabina has been consistently ranked among the best lecturers based on student feedback, despite the strict requirements she sets for her students. She is a skilled and conscientious teacher who is constantly striving for quality improvement and methodological innovation in her teaching activities, from undergraduate to postgraduate, doctoral and English language courses.
Attila as an acknowledged language teacher and proofreader has taken a leading role in the development and teaching of English for Academic Purposes. His MyView rates are consistently high and he contributes to the language development of academic colleagues through group training and individual coaching.
Attila has above-average myview results and is a strong advocate for student mentoring. As the head of the Enterprise Development and Management and the Head of the Small Business Specialization, he regularly organizes professional excursions for students, entrepreneurship, and start-up trainings. He actively supports the organization of DanubeCup and other student competitions, and is involved in TDK and OTDK consultations.
Lívia is an excellent teacher in the field of tourism, with outstanding myview results. Her English and Hungarian lessons are loved by the students, which is largely due to her market experience. She has established a university partnership with the Accor hotel chain and an international exchange programme with the CUHK Business School in Hong Kong. He has mentored winning teams in the CheckInn student innovation national competition for several years.
Ági has been one of the most outstanding lecturers at the Institute of Finance team for many years, and an active contributor to course-development. The development of the BPM Multivariate Data Analysis course was so successful that in addition to the Myview assessment of 4.99, several joint articles were published with the students With the renewal of the bachelor’s degree in Monetary and Banking System, the teaching team has entered the PRME Teaching Excellence competition. Ági also boasts two TDK winners.
The Employee of the Year Award is given by secret ballot by the university community to service staff who have demonstrated outstanding customer-focused work, support and encouragement to their colleagues during the year.

Zsani joined the Finance team in September 2022. She is always thorough, efficient and helpful, and colleagues can ask her for support under any circumstances. Her innovative ideas help to simplify and streamline processes. Over the last two years, she has enthusiastically organised and coordinated Finance’s team-building programmes, contributing significantly to the team’s good mood.
Márti’s smart and dedicated work contributes significantly to the philosophy of the Corvinus Science Shop and to the delivery of the university’s third mission. She has initiated and accompanied community partner processes in all Institutes and in many university service areas. In doing so, it not only deepens the social embeddedness of the university, but also weaves new and novel relationships in innovative ways, inspiring colleagues’ course, research and organisational development work. This activity has been recognised this year, uniquely in Europe, by the UN Principles for Responsible Management with a Teaching Faculty Award.
Zoli has been working at our university for more than a decade. Since his arrival, he has been dedicated to providing a high standard of security services in the university buildings. With his tireless, conscientious work and excellent organisational skills, he contributes greatly to the smooth operation of our university buildings and the organisation of university events. He has also been outstanding in the additional tasks related to the opening of the Gellért Campus.
