Corvinus Scholarship

Tuition-free Places on 3 Corvinus Master’s

Fully funded tuition scholarships are available for self-funded Master’s students applying to start with Corvinus in September 2025.

Who can apply

The 3×15 scholarship places are open to self-funded international students who apply via DreamApply by 14 August 2025 and are admitted to one of the following master’s programmes:

What we offer

  • The scholarship could cover the full cost of tuition.
  • The scholarship is available for up to 4 semesters, potentially covering the entire duration of the programme, depending on academic performance.
  • The scholarship may be extended to include one additional semester to be spent on an exchange programme abroad.

Principles of selections

To be eligible, the applicant must score at least 75 points in the admissions process.

The applicant must have a valid bank account in the same currency as the scholarship (if the tuition fee is in Euro for the programme then a Euro bank account, if in Hungarian forints, then a HUF account is needed), as recorded in Neptun, the University’s online student administration system.

Successful candidates will be selected according to the number of admission points they achieve: the higher, the better.

In case of a tie between candidates, the final selection will take into account:

  • the date of the admission decision: the earlier, the better.
  • the date of application: the earlier, the better.

Requirements for maintaining the scholarship

Students’ academic performance will be reviewed annually to ensure they continue meeting the scholarship criteria. By 31 July each year, the university evaluates:

  • A cumulative credit-weighted average of 3.80 across two semesters.
  • Completion of at least 46 credits across those two semesters.

The calculation for the cumulative credit-weighted average can be found in the regulation.

Repayment conditions

  • If a student suspends their status during a semester, they must repay the entire scholarship amount for that semester.
  • If the student does not complete the programme within twice the normal duration, they must repay the full scholarship amount.

However, the student is not required to repay the scholarship if they switch to another programme or delivery mode within the university, as long as they obtain their diploma within the duration of the new programme, and no later than twice the programme duration.

Exclusion

The scholarship is not available to students who receive:

  • The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, Diaspora Higher Education Scholarship, or any other state or institutional scholarship covering programme costs.
  • Third-party funding third party (e.g., an employer) covering all or part of the programme cost.
