Welcome to the Public Speaking Program!
The course will help students practice and perfect communication techniques and strategies to become better communicators and public speakers. In this course, emphasis will be placed on spoken outcomes in difficult communication situations through speeches and “natural” speaking exercises. Specifically, this course will give students techniques they can use to speak better, and then use those techniques to craft their own speeches or presentations in their work.
Stanley Ward
Program director
Stanley Ward is a Master Teacher at Corvinus University in the fields of Business Communications and Intercultural Communication, and Public Speaking Training. He is currently working in the Institute of Marketing and Communication Science, in the International Marketing and Consumer Behavior Department. Mr. Ward also working in the CEMS program, and the Full-time MBA program.
Outside of Corvinus, Mr. Ward has worked at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest (6 years), the University of Vienna (2 years), Temple University Japan (2 years) and Meiji Gakuin University (2 years) and worked in Japan as a manager and University teacher for 8 years). Mr. Ward does consultancy work in marketing and works as a proofreader and content writer as well.
