The Library is proud to share the news of some recent opportunities open to all Corvinus researchers. These include a new data base, fresh journal rankings and free open access publishing.ORBIS database
As a brand-new source, the ORBIS Europe database has become available to the Corvinus community. Orbis is a comprehensive database that contains company information in a standardised format. Our current subscription contains data about very large and large companies, the number of represented companies is close to 900.000. Data about the companies contains, among others, financial strength metrics, associated news, ownership structures, global M&A deals, etc. Our subscription is limited to 5-concurrent users. For browsing the database no account is necessary, however, exporting data from it requires one. To get it, please send your request with your name, job title, Corvinus e-mail address to szolg@uni-corvinus.hu. For more content information and the different login options, please check the database description on the Library’s homepage.
’For Researcher’ – updates
The Library’s ’For Researcher’ menu has been updated with fresh journal rankings. Besides SJR-values and linked SJR Q1-Q4 quartiles from 2020, the update includes recent data from Journal Citation Reports. The Eigenfactor score and Article Influence Percentile 2020 can be viewed after logging in with CUSMAN and downloading the file.
Free Open Access Publishing at OUP
As a result of a new contract between Oxford University Press and EISZ Consortium, Corvinus researchers have the possibility to publish their articles as Open Access without paying an Article Processing Charge (APC). The offer is valid for articles accepted for publication until 31 December 2021, and the list of hybrid periodicals is defined by the publisher. More information is available on the Library’s Open Access page.
