The Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation, the maintainer of Corvinus University, established the Pro Futura Universitatis Corvini Award to recognise the work of those university citizens who have played an outstanding role in the renewal process of the institution and have made an exceptional contribution to the University’s reputation and future.

In 2024, the Pro Futura Universitatis Corvini Award was presented to Zsuzsanna Csentericsné Arnold, Head of HR at Corvinus.

The award was presented on Friday, 30 August 2024, during the opening ceremony of the academic year, by Dániel Palotani, Trustee of the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation and member of the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Zsuzsanna Csentericsné Arnold is a key player in the University’s renewal process, and her work and the area she has managed have played a major role in the success of the institutional development strategy linked to the renewal. After several decades of successful professional work at Hungary’s leading financial institutions, the Head of HR at Corvinus joined the University almost five years ago, where she established the strategic HR management organisation, integrating it into an academic organisation in a way that is exemplary for Hungarian higher education. She developed its sub-strategies and practices, and under her leadership Corvinus’ academic performance management and remuneration system was renewed. One of the most significant and highly valued achievements of her work, even outside the institution, was the introduction of the academic career model. This will provide a clear and comprehensive picture of the performance and potential of the University’s teaching and research community at the end of the first cycle, which will, among other things, inform strategic planning for the coming years.

The Pro Futura Universitatis Corvini award is open to a maximum of two persons per year, as decided by the Board of Trustees of the University, and can be nominated by the University Senate, the Presidential Committee, the Awards Committee and the Student Union.
