Anett Zanócz, PhD student at Corvinus wins green award

The MNB International Green Finance Conference was held on 6. November 2024. to discuss the financial implications of environmental sustainability.

János Áder, former President of Hungary and President of the Blue Planet Foundation, was the keynote speaker. The event also featured speeches by representatives of the European Commission and the European Central Bank. This year, the central theme was biodiversity conservation and its mainstreaming in economic processes, in the context of the functioning of companies and institutions.  

In the fourth call for proposals under the Green Finance Science Research Initiative, four research projects were awarded prizes.  Regina Bodó, PhD student at the University of Szeged and Anett Zanócz, PhD student at Corvinus University of Budapest won the Special Research Initiative Award for their research design on sustainability disclosure by large companies.
