Johannes Wachs is an associate professor at the Institute of Data Analytics and Information Science at Corvinus University of Budapest and a research fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies in Hungary. He is also affiliated with the Complexity Science Hub Vienna and has recently been researching the social and economic impact of open-source software and artificial intelligence.
The winning paper was on “money in politics and corruption in US government contracting”. The Beryl Radin Prize is awarded annually to the best article published in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART).
