Bruno van Pottelsberghe takes over the rectorship from the President of the Republic

In a ceremony at the Sándor Palace, Tamás Sulyok handed over the Rector's appointment to Bruno van Pottelsberghe on the morning of 11 September.
On the proposal of the Minister for Culture and Innovation, in agreement with the Maintainer, the President of the Republic appointed Professor Bruno Van Pottelsberghe at the Corvinus University of Budapest for the period from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2028. The President-Rector received the document of appointment in person at the office of Tamás Sulyok.
At the ceremony, the rectorship was also conferred on Levente Adalbert Kovács of Óbuda University, Zoltán Tibor Pállinger of the Gyula Andrássy University Budapest, Andrea Némethné Dr. Gál of Edutus University and András Korányi of the Evangelical Theological University.
The Head of State wished the university leaders good work and success.
