Cooperation between the Hungarian Competition Authority(GVH) and Corvinus University

Budapest, April 14, 2021 - The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) and the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE) have signed a cooperation agreement for the development and support of Hungarian economic expertise.

Budapest, April 14, 2021 – The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) and the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE) have signed a cooperation agreement for the development and support of Hungarian economic expertise. The agreement provides an effective framework for knowledge sharing between the competition authority and the university at both student and researcher level.

 Balázs Csaba Rigó, President of the Hungarian Competition Authority, and András Lánczi, Rector of the Corvinus University of Budapest and Ákos Domahidi, Chancellor of the University, agreed on the future cooperation of the two institutions in order to develop and support Hungarian economics. The GVH will promote the teaching and research of competitive economics and competition policy in a wide range of areas, including the organization of practical educational programs and projects, the individual care of outstanding talents and the support of training workshops. The university supports the staff of the competition authority with, among other, training in behavioral economics, one of today’s most important disciplines.
