Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

The agreement was signed on March 4 at the Corvinus Gellért Campus by Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest, and Lajos György Szabó, Vice-Rector General, on behalf of the university, as well as Nándor Tóth, Head of Branch, and István Péter Kovács, Head of IT, representing Allianz Technology Hungarian Branch.

Our strategic partnerships provide both parties with a competitive advantage and, equally important, a valuable professional network that connects corporate professionals, students, and the academic sphere. Through practice-oriented courses, research, and professional programs that share the latest industry knowledge, our students gain hands-on experience that helps them stand out in the job market. Meanwhile, our corporate partners benefit from Corvinus’ research findings to address real business challenges and can discover top-tier talent among our students,

said Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University.

We are proud to be a key IT delivery hub in Budapest. As part of our strategy, we aim to connect with the most talented young professionals. We also feel a strong responsibility to give back by sharing our industry knowledge with students, helping them bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world challenges. The partnership enables us to contribute to cutting-edge research in technology. Furthermore, Corvinus will play a crucial role in upskilling our employees, offering expertise in key areas such as artificial intelligence, corporate management, and finance

, said Nándor Tóth, Head of Branch at Allianz Technology Hungary.

As part of the collaboration, Allianz Technology Hungarian Branch will offer corporate scholarships, specialized courses, guest lectures, real-world project tasks for Corvinus students, and opportunities for thesis consultations. The company will primarily contribute to education in the fields of data science and IT technology.

Corvinus University will support the professional development of Allianz Technology employees through customized and postgraduate education programs, as well as a mentorship program. The university will also provide access to its student talent pool through career fairs and online communication channels. Additionally, the agreement enables Allianz Technology to benefit from specialized research programs tailored to its needs.
