Corvinus and János Neumann University students awarded by Budapest Stock Exchange

The teams of Corvinus University of Budapest and Neumann János University have won the Budapest Stock Exchange's (BSE) Kochmeister Prize for their first and second place in this year's CFA Institute and CFA Society Hungary equity analysis competition, the BSE announced.

Our Institute of Finance Master students, Barnabás Timár and Gábor Till, secured first place in the Hungarian Round of the CFA Research Challenge. The winners also received a cash prize of half a million forints, which will enable them to take part in regional competitions and to qualify for the global finals. ’The Hungarian competition has produced some great results, which will give the participants the opportunity to showcase their skills internationally’ – wrote the BSE. Since 2004, the winners of the 24th edition of the competition for university students have been awarded the prize named after the BSE’s first president, Frigyes Kochmeister.
