“During the autumn semester we had 11 rehearsals and 2 performances. At the moment we have almost 30 foreign and Hungarian members” – said Tamás Madarasi, leader of the choir.
The choir, Crescendo, has also become an accredited student association and will launch an elective subject worth 3-credits in the spring semester. (More details can be found in this article from last year.)
As for their future, the choir’s organisers said that over time they would like to perform at national and international festivals , but until then they are prepared to give concerts at several venues. However, they are driven by an even greater goal: to bring together the citizens of the university: foreign and Hungarian students, university employees and alumni.
You can join the Crescendo choir until 9 February on this interface.
