Corvinus is again the best Hungarian university in the economic field
2023-11-27 13:07:00According to Hungarian leading economic newspaper HVG's ranking of higher education for 2024, Corvinus has retained its first place among the country's universities in economic field, ELTE is second, and BME has slipped down.
At the end of November, HVG’s Diploma 2024 publication was published, including a ranking of universities and colleges. The ranking in the field of economic education is as follows:
- Corvinus (Corvinus University of Budapest)
- ELTE-GTK (Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Economics)
- SZTE-GTK (University of Szeged, Faculty of Economics)
- PTE-KTK (University of Pécs, Faculty of Economics)
- DE-GTK (University of Debrecen, Faculty of Economics)
- BGE-PSZK (Budapest University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Finance and Accounting)
- BME-GTK (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Economics)
- BGE-KKK (Budapest University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Foreign Trade)
- BGE-KVIK (Budapest University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism)
- ELTE-PPK (Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Education and Psychology)
Although the first two places are held by the same universities as last year, there are several changes in the ranking. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics, for example, dropped 4 places and was replaced by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Szeged.
Economics is a very popular field for admissions, with Corvinus usually having the highest scores.
