The Junior Prize is awarded to a young person under 40 who, despite his/her age, has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of finance and economics, and who sets an example to his or her peers through his or her professional performance.
On the Junior Prize winner, Kristof Menyhért, György Matolcsy said that the fact that he founded the Luca Pacioli Association in 2017 at the age of 22 played a decisive role in winning the prize. The association is the first and to date the only youth organisation in Hungary whose aim is to ensure the supply of the best professionals and managers in the fields of accounting, finance, taxation and legal knowledge, which are inseparable from each other.
