This intensive program offers hands-on training, experienced mentors, and a supportive community to acquire the business skills needed to make ideas attractive to investors. From the program’s start in March all the way to the Pitch Day in May, participants gained crucial skills and great connections that are essential for a startup’s success. Whether starting from scratch or refining an already existing idea, the Corvinus Boost Program provides a solid platform for achieving success.
After six weeks of intense preparation, the Corvinus Boost Program arrived at the exciting Pitch Day, which was held at the new Gellért Campus. Ten teams spent five weeks perfecting their business ideas, mastering the secrets of the business world, and building strong teams with the guidance of mentors.
The first few weeks were all about building connections and knowledge. The teams participated in a series of workshops and hands-on exercises that aimed to ignite their communication skills, foster trust, and give insight into the secrets of the business world, which are the cornerstones of any thriving enterprise.
The highlight of the program was the Pitch Day. Every team had a maximum of five minutes to impress the professional jury. The presentations took place in a whirlwind of innovation.
Among the ideas, we heard about a service that helps students prepare for university admissions or a new AI-based solution that revolutionizes tenders. Environmental protection also took center stage as several ideas proposed green solutions for diverse sets of problems, such as revolutionizing urban transport, fighting against food waste with the help of an application, or tree planting. The focus then shifted to technology solutions, with the teams presenting an AI-based note-organizing software, a crowdfunding platform, and an integrated payment and booking system. The last two teams focused on student life and entertainment. We heard about student-friendly, affordable dining and the fusion of fashion and techno clubs.
After all ten teams gave their pitches, it was time for the jury to discuss which ideas were the best. The choice between these diverse and innovative solutions was not easy. All of the teams received valuable feedback which can help further develop their businesses. Participating in the program gave them not only a crucial experience, but also valuable relationships, and guidance from experts to help them on their entrepreneurial journey. The winner of the Corvinus Boost Program was the team presenting the AI-based tendering software.
The program was crowned with a rooftop party, bringing together all participants, mentors, and judges for an evening of celebration and connection. After weeks of relentless effort, it was time to relax, make new connections, and toast to the groundbreaking achievements that emerged from the Corvinus Boost Program.
The Boost Program is back in September for Corvinus students with ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit, find out more on the program website!
