Corvinus students won three gold medals at the national judo championships

In November, the Hungarian National University and College Championships (MEFOB) were held in the Ludovika Arena of the National University of Public Service, and the national competition of the sport was held in Zalaegerszeg.

Following a high number of pre-registrations, two hundred and ninety-six students from nineteen higher education institutions arrived at the venue and began their preparations after the weigh-in. 

 

Results: 

 

MEFOB 

Women’s event in the professional category, 70 KG 

1st place: A. Chayeb Aqulina (Corvinus University of Budapest) 

 

In the men’s amateur category, 73 KG  

1st place: Péter Bernáth (Corvinus University of Budapest) 

 

Hungarian National Judo Championships 

One hundred and twenty-seven judo players from thirty-nine clubs travelled to Zalaegerszeg on the last Saturday of November for this year’s individual national championships.  

 

In the men’s professional category, weight category 66 KG 

1st place: Bence Máthé (Corvinus University of Budapest)
