Corvinus successes at the ELTE international running race

On 19 September, Eötvös Loránd University organised the XLVI 5vös 5 km International 5km Running Race of the Budapest University and College. 

Corvinus University of Budapest was represented by four students. 

 Csilla Szendi came third in the women’s absolute category and first among the university students on the winding, technical course with a time of 19:45 minutes. She was followed by Lilla Farkas in 5th place among the students and VIII place in the women’s overall with a time of 21:18. Elina Kanybekova finished in 23:11, 22nd in the absolute category and 14th in the university category. Liza Szigeti finished in 30:04 to finish 87th in the girls’ race, which gave her 56th place in the students’ race. In the men’s field, Péter Vékás of Corvinus University finished in 25th place in absolute terms with a time of 18:11, second among university staff. 

The windy, sunny, autumn-like weather on Thursday afternoon was a great atmosphere for the race along the Pázmány Péter promenade and the Hungarian Scientists’ Circuit.
