Corvinus University athletes closed the MEFOB Festival with a performance beyond expectations

In 8 different events, nearly 1000 athletes from about 20 higher education institutions of the country competed. The Corvinus balance: two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

    The MEFOB Festival (MEFOB FEST) was organised jointly by the Hungarian University – College Sports Association and Széchenyi University in Győr between 30 April and 3 May. The festival has grown into the biggest event in university sport over the past two years.   

    Over the four days, nearly 1000 athletes from 20 higher education institutions competed in 8 different events. The Corvinus balance: two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.  

    The performance of our athletes is particularly valuable as the MEFOB finals attracted an unprecedented field.   

    Chess – two gold and one bronze medal
