On December 17, the Board of Trustees of Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation (MUC) maintaining Corvius University approved the 2021 budget of the University and the performance development and remuneration regulations for the career model. Further decisions were made at the last meeting of MUC this year
According to the decision of the Board of Trustees, the Corvinus University of Budapest may plan in 2021 with a budget of HUF 26 billion, for which the Foundation provides HUF 8 billion in support. This represents additional HUF 2.2 billion, i.e., 10%, compared to HUF 23.8 billion in in 2020. Compared to 2019, the increase is even more significant, 50%: at that time the University operated from HUF 17 billion.
The budget allows for the University to increase the number of Corvinus Scholarship places established with foundation support, expand the number of students receiving a significantly increased study and social scholarship, and develop the infrastructure.
With this budget, the two-year wage development programme of Corvinus instructors and staff approved at the end of 2019 will be implemented.
