The Corvinus University of Budapest CIAS and DAIS Institutions, in collaboration with Chou University, organized the 15th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Infocommunications in Tokyo from October 16th to 18th. The conference’s main objective was to explore the emerging cognitive capabilities in humans as a result of the co-evolution of humans and digital world. Specifically, the conference aimed to address how this “new” human will differ and become more effective in the context of individual, social, and economic evolution.
Experts in informatics, infocommunications, artificial intelligence, and cognitive science delivered lectures throughout the event. The field of Cognitive Infocommunications, as a scientific discipline, originated from the foundational work conducted by scholars at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Among the distinguished scientific partners of the conference were the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network, the Hungarian Academy of Engineering, and the Japanese KDDI Foundation.
