Corvinus wins twice in the IAB “Best thesis on digital marketing” competition

In 2024, the students of the Institute of Marketing and Communication Sciences have achieved a double success in the IAB "Best Thesis on Digital Marketing" competition, both in the undergraduate and master's degree categories.

IAB Hungary, the professional organisation of the digital advertising industry, with the support of Atmedia, GroupM Academy and OMD, has launched its sixth thesis competition for higher education students. In 2024, the students of Marketing and Communication Sciencees won the first prize both in the bachelor and master’s degree programmes.  

 

The winner in the Bachelor’s degree: 

Blanka Krasznai: From joke with words to branding 

(Corvinus University of Budapest, consultant: Éva Markos-Kujbus, Ph.D.) 

Master’s degree (shared first place) 

Barbara Kocsó: Scrolling for skin care – A qualitative study of TikTok as an edutainment tool
