Housing for disabled at Kinizsi Dormitory

The Kinizsi Street dormitory of the Corvinus University of Budapest has been being renovated since the summer of 2020. Due to the epidemic situation, a number of planned tasks had to be postponed, but the construction of the College’s apartment for the disabled was completed in the spring.

 
The apartment with wheelchair accessibility awaits its residents in September at Kinizsi College with full furnishings and facilities. The apartment provides the conditions necessary to serve the changed living conditions of the students: fully equipped, mechanized and barrier-free kitchen, special built-in furniture in the two-person living room, electric adjustable desks, suitable beds and safety equipment for the bathroom. The elevator with wheelchair accessibility has also been completed, so that prospective residents can safely get up to the apartment on the mezzanine level.
