How to Apply to Our Bachelor’s Programmes?

Our Bachelor’s Programmes 

At Corvinus University of Budapest, you can choose from bachelor’s programmes in economics,  business administration and social sciences. You may apply for up to two programmes.

Note: The admission procedure fee applies only to self-funded students (€75). 

Required Documents for Application 

To apply for an undergraduate programme at Corvinus University of Budapest, submit an online application along with the following documents: 

  • Proof of completing secondary education (final certificate, transcripts, and translations if not in English or Hungarian).
  • Evidence of B2-level English proficiency (see details below).
  • A valid passport.
  • Letter of motivation (minimum one page, only for Stipendium Hungaricum applicants). 

Proving Your English Proficiency 

Intermediate-level English (minimum B2) is required for all applicants. No admission points are awarded for language skills. Accepted certifications include: 

  • CEFR B2, Cambridge FCE, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72, TOEFL 65, TOEIC 785, Duo-lingo 100, or Skillcert EGP 96.
  • A-level in English (minimum grade B), IB Standard Level 5 or Higher Level 4, GCSE grade 6/B or higher.
  • Advanced-level secondary school leaving exam in English (minimum 45%).
  • Certificates from internationally recognised preparatory programmes (e.g., INTO, Study Group, Kaplan).
  • If English is your mother tongue, submit a declaration via the University’s application platform.

International Relations   100-point motivational/professional interview    

Mathematics Exam Details 

For mathematics-based programmes: 

  • University exam: Minimum 56 points, maximum 100 points.
  • Substitutes for the exam (100 points, if submitted by April):
    • AP test (Mathematics AB/BC): Minimum score of 3.
    • SAT Mathematics Level 2: Minimum score of 680.
    • ACT: Minimum score of 27.
    • IB Mathematics: Standard Level 5 or Higher Level 4 or above.
    • Advanced-level secondary school leaving exam in Hungary: Minimum 45%.
    • GCSE Mathematics: Grade 6/B or higher.
    • A-level Mathematics: Minimum grade B.
