IV. KEK RUN – our students were successful at the Carpathian Basin Universities’ running race

This year, BEAC organized the 4th Carpathian Basin Universities Cup, co-organized by the National University of Public Service. In addition to universities from Budapest and the provinces, the event attracted participants from Transylvania, Vojvodina, Transcarpathia and the Highlands.  

The running event started on Saturday 02 March, where our students represented Corvinus University of Budapest. The weather was ideal for one of the first running races of the spring. The participation of nearly 400 runners on the Ludovika Campus created a great atmosphere. The race took place on a closed circuit.   

Our students LILI ERZSÉBET FÓRIZS and KAMILLA PÉNTEK competed in the 10 km relay and came in second in a strong field.   

LEVENTE NOVÁK finished 9th out of 137 participants, also in the 10 km race as an individual with a time of 00:40:10 minutes.
