János Ujvári Diploma Award

The János Ujvári Diploma Award competition aims to motivate graduating students to consider the IP aspects of their thesis topics. They will learn about the basics of IP protection, gain insight into the economic and legal aspects of its tools and acquire knowledge that they can use later as employees, researchers or engineers. 

Participation in the competition also includes valuable professional training free of charge, as well as technical support for the preparation of application materials. The best applications in each category will receive substantial financial awards. 

Who can apply 

The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students who will complete their studies at the end of the autumn semester of the 2024-25 academic year. 

Content of the call for applications 

The competition is open to graduate students who wish to submit a thesis on a topic of their choice, covering at least 10 pages of intellectual property protection, or a thesis devoted entirely to a selected issue of intellectual property protection. 

Deadlines 

Deadline for registering your application: 2 December 2024.  

Deadline to submit a proposal for a degree award: 21 March 2025.
