One and a half billion for digital development at the Corvinus

The funds won this way will contribute to the digital developments of the campus at Ménesi út, the on-line education system of the University will be reborn, and the digital learning material will also be updated.

Owing to the European Union’s grant of almost one and a half billion HUF, the University may realise developments in four areas.

Under the Academy subproject, digital learning materials will be produced for key subjects at the Corvinus, and the University will develop new graduate and postgraduate programmes related to data science and artificial intelligence. Under the Ménesi Campus subproject, the digital and education infrastructure of the new Campus of the Corvinus at Ménesi út will be established, focusing on practice and innovation orientation and sustainability.

The support provided to the IT subproject will allow the University to make the auditoriums and education spaces of the Corvinus fully suitable for hybrid and digital education, with an infrastructure of a closed system. In addition, the University will launch a digital instrument leasing programme for students in need. In the Digitalisation subproject, the University may improve educational excellence and the system managing education data and supporting the academic administration.

As a result of the project, the community of the Corvinus will be able to enjoy an education offer that relies on high-level infrastructure and modern supporting systems, and is in up-to-date connection with the challenges of digitalisation. The project running until the end of April 2026 will be implemented from the RRF-2.1.2-21 Infrastructure and skills development for practice-oriented higher education call for applications included in the European recovery plan of the EU. These EU support options facilitate reforms and investments in the Member States. Our objective is to mitigate the social and economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, and to make European economies and societies more sustainable and resilient, and to prepare them for the green and digital transition.
