New developments in the Kinizsi Dormitory

Following the modernising of the energy management system of the building in May, further renovation works started in the Kinizsi Dormitory in early June.

 In the Kinizsi Dormitory, the spaces at the main entrance, the corridors upstairs, the gym, the rooms and the kitchenettes at all levels of both wings were renewed in the past few years, and this year the subsequent insulation of the whole facade was completed. 

In the basement area, it was necessary to renew the age-worn main conduits of the building and to complete the related engineering works. Based on the plans produced by the Infrastructural Services, the project will involve the replacement of heating and water mains, the sewage system and the heating system of the gym. The connected rooms of the PE and Sports Centre will be painted, and the showers and the sanitary units will be renewed. 

The citizens of the University will be able to use the renewed areas after the completion of the works, which is expected in the middle of August.
