Volunteering at visual arts events

This spring, ArtNESZ Fine Arts Agency launched the VAP (Volunteering in Art Programs) online platform, with the aim of providing a single interface to receive applications and information about volunteering and internship programmes in the field of fine arts, with a single registration.  

In the autumn season, volunteers can apply for two art events (English-speaking foreign applicants are also welcome): 

1) Art Market Budapest (17-20 October, Millenáris) 

2) Art Weekend Budapest (29 November – 1 December, several venues in Budapest) 

HOW TO APPLY: 

1. Register via the VAP Volunteer interface: 

a) by logging in to the VAP interface, create a profile and select the event you would like to volunteer for 

b) you can also register for separate events (without creating a profile) 

2. Register for Art Market Budapest by e-mail

If you do not wish to volunteer on the VAP volunteer page, you can send your application to volunteer@amb.hu as follows: 

a) subject of the e-mail: AMB24 volunteer application

b) include a brief introduction and/or CV of the applicant; which days of the fair he/she is available (14-20 October – those who can commit to as many days as possible are more likely to be assigned).

The deadline to apply for the AMB volunteer programme is 05.10.2024. 

In addition to gaining experience, an extra motivation is that volunteers can visit the fair and festival programmes free of charge.
