The competition was open until 5 November and is open to innovators who are moving the world in a positive direction. A jury of experts then selected the best applicants from each country. The student from Corvinus University of Budapest was given the opportunity to develop his idea, which was the best among the Hungarian applicants, on an international stage with the help of experts and mentors, and to present his concept at the final in Tokyo in early December. Dávid Nagyvári entered with StyleSwipe, an online marketplace for clothes that match the personality and style of the customer.
He has created a dating-like interface where, by swiping left and right on the clothes, the algorithm instantly detects which style suits the user and then offers sets.
The winner of the world competition will receive a trip to Silicon Valley, where they will receive personalised mentoring and network with industry leaders. His platform is already up and running, and he is currently building relationships with apparel partners to launching it soon.
