The team of Corvinus University, Tamás Csókay, Áron Kovács, Soma Nagy and György Székely, students of the Master in Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, having won the regional round of the PRMIA Risk Management Challenge international case study competition, qualified for the global finals, where they came third in their section.
In the English-language competition, the task was a complex risk management problem that presented the intertwining of operational and credit risks in banking, and the solution required a wide range of risk management skills and creativity.
In the global final, 10 teams in 2 sections could participate, Europe was represented by the Hungarian team in addition to the London team.
