At the 35th National Conference of Scientific Students’ Associations (OTDK), five excellent students have won top positions or special prizes, whose supervisors are members of the Sports Economics Research Centre.
Students competing in the field of sports economics have won a first position, two third positions, and three special prizes:
Dániel Claro, Economics Section, Sectoral Economics – Sports and Economics School: 1st position
Title of paper: “Analysis of the Impact of the 2018 FIFA World Cup”. Supervisor: Dr. Zsolt Havran.
Balázs Pataki, Economics Section, Business Economics – Businesses School; 3rd position
Title of paper: “Contract year impact in the NBA”.
Supervisor: Dr. Krisztina András.
Dorottya Borbála Gerics, Economics Section, Business Economics – Businesses School; Special Prize
Title of paper: “What impact can the Minimotor project have?”
Supervisor: Dr. Miklós Kozma.
Álmos Szarke, Economics Section, Sectoral Economics – Sports and Economics School: Special Prize
Title of paper: “The impact of investors, who are billionaires, on European professional football” Supervisor: Dr. Zsolt Havran.
András Babos, Economics Section, Business Economics – Corporate Economy and Market Success: Special Prize
Title of paper: “The relationship between youth education, player market strategy and international effectiveness through the example of FK Crvena Zvezda”. Supervisor: Dr. Zsolt Havran.
