EAIE, which is 35 years old this year, takes place in a different country and city every year. This year the conference and exhibition took place in Toulouse, France, from 17 to 20 September. Europe’s leading international higher education event attracted more than 7000 professionals from all over the world, including international academics, higher educational staff, service providers and national offices. Participation in the conference proved particularly valuable for the implementation of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme, which aims to internationalise Hungarian higher education and promote its competitiveness.
Corvinus representatives strengthened cooperations with a number of existing partners, as well as establishing contacts with new ones from European and non-European countries. The aim of the discussions was to recruit new scholarship students and to widen the possibilities of exchange programmes.
Participants had the opportunity to visit more than 200 exhibitor stands and hundreds of professional events. In the plenary sessions, workshops and panel discussions, experts gave inspiring and interactive debates and presentations on the latest trends, good practices and strategies in higher education. The experience and knowledge gained at EAIE will be used by our institution in future developments through the reports of the participating colleagues.
