Semester Opening Ceremony for PhD Students

The event aimed to welcome both new and ongoing doctoral students and to strengthen connections within the university community. 

Bruno van Pottelsberghe, the President-Rector of Corvinus University, opened the event with a welcoming speech, which was followed by remarks from István Kónya, the Dean of Corvinus Doctoral Schools. The program continued with introductions of the Heads of the four Doctoral Schools and a presentation by DOSZ (the National Association of Ph.D. Candidates), providing valuable information on the support and opportunities available to students. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers, facilitating discussions on important topics. 

The event also included a playful quiz, and concluded with a dinner, during which students could engage in informal conversations, allowing them to make new friends and build professional connections.
