In a hybrid discussion, the participants of the conference will connect with the instructors of Vadym Hertman National University of Economics in Kiev, some of whom are in Ukraine while others have escaped to Hungary, Germany or Spain, and the economics instructors of Izmail State University. Through this discussion we wish to connect with these colleagues, and we intend to explore the situation of higher education during the war, seeking to find out how we can help, from assistance in continuing higher education programs in Hungary, to providing online courses or support for research.
3.30 pm – 4 pm: Presentation by a successful startup-founder A successful entrepreneur and Corvinus alumna will also give a presentation, describing her experiences with entrepreneurship education. Kati Orbán and her co-founders launched Gyerünk, Anyukám!/GoMomGo, which is a successful startup and also an awareness-raising movement. Starting in 2015, they devised online workouts for mothers with small children, which was definitely innovative at the time. The business soared during the pandemic and now they are working on international expansion.
