Success Story: Student Participation at ConSIMium
The ConSIMium is a simulation event organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union, where each EU member state participates with a six-member delegation. The event takes place in the actual decision-making chambers of the Council, allowing participants to experience EU negotiations firsthand.
Tóth Csongor Murád learned about this opportunity through Corvinus University and joined the event as part of the Hungarian delegation. During the program, participants simulated committee discussions on European defense policy and critical raw materials. The Hungarian team successfully represented the country!
Csongor served as a national expert and worked on critical raw materials, established international connections with other delegations and contributed to strategic planning. The event provided an excellent opportunity to gain practical insight into EU decision-making and develop diplomatic skills.
