The Albert Berzeviczy Fellowship scheme is open for applications for 2025

The deadline for applications: 15 January 2025 

The aim of the scholarship programme is to enable Olympic and Paralympic athletes to enrich their experience as elite athletes with high-quality training, whether at university or at secondary level, whether self-financed or publicly funded, so that they are well prepared for the labour market. Applications will be assessed by members of the BOM Foundation’s Board of Trustees, ensuring that the most deserving athletes receive the support they need. A special feature of the programme is that the scholarship is for the entire duration of the studies, so there is no need to reapply every year. 

Over the years, the BOM Foundation has supported the studies of more than 220 athletes, including top athletes such as Michelle Gulyás, gold medallist in Paris, Luca Ekler, Péter Kiss and Kristóf Rasovszky, who is studying electrical engineering:

I have been a recipient of the Albert Berzeviczy scholarship since 2019, which is a great help for me in many ways. I am studying electrical engineering at the University of Pannonia and I try to perform at a high level in both sport and studies, but the competitions and training have had a big impact on my studies. I am currently writing my thesis and will be graduating soon. Throughout this period, I have always had the support and backing of the BOM Foundation, which has made me feel safe and secure, and I have never been in any doubt about whether I could do this degree while preparing for the Olympics.
