The two-month specialized training, anounced in 2020 at Corvinus, is primarily aimed at professionals involved in the management of research and development and innovation projects, as well as employees of companies, research centers and accelerators engaged in research and development and innovation activities.
On April 8, the recent graduates of the management training received their diploma and personalised recommendation from the Vice-Rector for Education Lajos Szabó in an online ceremony. The 31 new research and innovation managers were also greeted by Dr. Zoltán Birkner, President of the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation, and István Hugyák, Head of the Implementation and Analysis Department for Innovation at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
One of the most important objectives of the renewal of the Hungarian innovation system is that the close cooperation between university knowledge centers and the corporate sphere will increasingly promote the practical utilization of research and development activities. The professionals graduating from Corvinus will have project management and leadership skills and will be able to lead innovation programs in the competitive sector as well as to manage theoretical research projects. They can get to know the micro- and macro-environment of innovation, learn how to access innovation resources, implement a project, what legal and patent requirements must be met.
