The “Kornai Legacy” collections are now available in the University Library

The heirs of the world-famous economist János Kornai have donated a large part of the professor's library to our library, which can also be searched in the online catalogue.
The heirs of János Kornai, the world-renowned economist who died in 2021, have donated to our library a large part of the books and periodicals collected in the professor’s university and home library, including many signed volumes of non-fiction and fiction literature.
Once processed, they are now available in the University Library and can be searched in the online catalogue, collected under the “Kornai hagyaték” guide. The collection can thus be used to map the works that influenced the development of his oeuvre.
