Thesis, Final examination – Here are the important deadlines!

2023-11-27 13:40:00

If you finish your studies this semester, the deadline for submitting your thesis and registering for the final examination will come soon.

Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Thesis:

Delivery: 27/11/2023 10:00 a.m. – 08/12/2023 12:00 a.m.

The delivery of the thesis consists of three steps:

  • You have until Tuesday, 05/12/2023, 11:59 p.m. to start the “Thesis admission request”
  • Until Thursday, 07/12/2023 11:59 p.m., the lecturer will comment on the request
  • You can upload your thesis until 12:00 am on Friday 08/12/2023. If you do not initiate the upload by 11:59 p.m. on 05/12/2023, you will not be able to upload your thesis.

The student is obliged to present his/her thesis awaiting finalisation to the supervisor for approval by the deadline set by the supervisor, but no later than ten (10) working days before the submission deadline.

Submission is done electronically via the Neptun system. It is important that we check the authenticity of the thesis after submission using a plagiarism checker. You can also run the plagiarism program beforehand if you want to be sure with the test upload provided in Moodle.

After the thesis submission period, you can only submit your thesis in the next thesis submission period, i.e., the next semester.

Once you have submitted your thesis, you cannot withdraw it, so it will be assessed anyway.

All the important information about submitting your thesis can be found here.

Final examination

Application deadline for the final examination of January: 27/11/2023 10:00 a.m. – 08/12/2023 12:00 a.m.

Students who have submitted a request to have their paper submitted to the Students’ Scientific Association accepted as a thesis are also required to register for final examination.

The final examinations will be organised as face-to-face examinations between 15/01/2024 and 26/01/2024.

It is not possible to improve the grade of the successful final examination (if the grade was better than insufficient). A failed (insufficient) final examination or final examination part may be repeated twice. One more time the final examination or final examination part may be corrected with the permission of the Rector.

All important information about the final examinations can be found here.
