Telex.hu, one of the leading news portal in Hungary asked our program director, CEMS student organization president and an alumnus why it is good to participate in the world's 10th best business education program, free of charge from Corvinus.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

There is an international management program at Corvinus University of Budapest, which allows Hungarian students to study for a semester at the world’s top universities free of charge. Students who complete the one-year, English-language CEMS program that can be admitted to the Corvinus Master’s program receive an international management degree in addition to their regular major, which has a very good name in large consulting and multinational companies.

One of the most popular Hungarian news portals talked with Richard Szántó, head of CEMS academy, Fruzsina Tóth, CEMS student, president of the CEMS Club student organization, and Márk Vad, a young professional who recently graduated from the CEMS program, about training, admission and life at CEMS.

Among other things, the paper asked what CEMS means to participants:

For me, it’s about trying myself as a leader, preparing for what it’s like to work as a manager in my career, and being part of an international community both at home and during my exchange studies.

Fruzsina Tóth

For me, it is a globally recognized international program that gives me an insight into the field of international management. Its peculiarity is that it is very practice-oriented, because after the training, students have to take part in an internship abroad for at least 8 weeks. This greatly increases the value of their degree.

The program is also a bridge between the academic and business worlds. Corporate partners regularly and actively appear in the trainings, many exclusive events are organized, and it can be seen in the job selection that CEMS students receive a plus. It is also important that there are no tuition fees for the training, so we have the opportunity to study at the world’s top business universities, where tuition fees can be as high as $20-30 thousand.
