What the doctoral diploma ceremony was like
2024-09-11 15:30:00On June 27, nine completed their habilitation, and 46 received their doctoral diplomas.
It is always a special occasion in the life of the University when we officially confer the title of Doctor upon our doctoral candidates. This year, we celebrated the new doctors and habilitated individuals with a formal ceremony.
The event was opened by Zoltán Balázs, President of the Corvinus Doctoral Council, followed by speeches from Lajos Szabó, former acting Rector, and Alexandra Bagi, a representative of the Doctoral Student Association.
After a brief musical performance, the habilitated candidates took their oaths and received their diplomas. They were followed by the newly graduated doctoral candidates from the four doctoral schools, who also received their diplomas after taking the doctoral oath.
